Savi had a few friends from Kindergarten over before school for a little Halloween party. We made white chocolate banana ghosts and cheese stick witch’s fingers. Jack sampled the fun treats when he got home.
Jack liked to wear his Harry Potter costume with his Husky dog hat and pretend he was an animagus.
Savannah, the cutest witch. She almost went for year 3 as a princess. It was fun to do something different. She was still a “pretty” witch, of course, with purple sparkly nail polish and eye shadow. Ordway Elementary does this super cute parade on Halloween. The Kindergartners start it out, walking through all the other classrooms. Each class they enter then joins onto the parade until eventually the whole school is marching around in their costumes.
Harry Potter and Hermione! We weren’t surprised that this year Jack wanted to be nothing but H.P.
The witch and the wizard joined by the pirate. That evening we headed out to Winslow, where just about everybody on the island who has children is walking with their kids and collecting candy from all the business owners. It was packed and so fun to see all our friends and other familiar faces. There was even a Thriller flash dance mob in the middle of the street at one point. Grandma Susan came and joined us too!
Batman Rosie and Pirate Wench Willow. Everybody thought they were little twins.
The Romney’s strolled Winslow and then our neighborhood with us too. It was such a fun Halloween! And good weather too! Yay!
