Savannah’s Nutcracker

Savannah performed in the Bainbridge Island production of the Nutcracker with a little class of 5-7 year olds. They were the little flowers, and had a giant dance time of about 1 1/2 minutes…..but she LOVED it! At first, she was disappointed that they had to be blue flowers (she was hoping for pink!). But she eventually loved her forget-me-not flower costume.

Her class did a total of 10 shows over 2 different weekends. Savannah only had to do 5 because of the Sunday shows. So, the girls spent many hours together in this theater dressing room waiting for their dance or bows, trying not to mess up their tightly wrapped buns.

Waiting at the stairs to go down to the stage. They were so excited everytime. Never nervous!

Lined up backstage and ready to go on. They were so cute.

Another dance done, coming back up the stairs to meet all their moms. They had a TV in the dressing room so we could watch our girls each time.

I think Savannah’s favorite part was all the flowers.  The mascara and lipstick probably a close second

Gramps and Omie came to a show, Grandma Thorne and Dad made it to the opening show, and Grandma Susan, Grandma Jeanne, Aunt Linda, Aunt Beth and cousin Sophie came to her last show! It was great of everybody to come and support her.  Fun way to start our Christmas season and enjoy this fun Bainbridge community.
